Now let me narrate the story behind this coconut covered chocolate ball recipe being my preferred homemade sweet-dish. This goes back to my school days when Christmas holidays meant mother preparing cakes and cookies for us. Among them, no-bake coconut balls with condensed milk were my favourite. As I was always interested in culinary stuff, helping her prepare them was my favourite hobby. However, nothing much has changed, with the only exception that today I prepare it for my children. To me, it is an easier holiday recipe and Christmas is almost incomplete without the chocolate coconut snowballs recipe.

Guess what my favourite part is? This coconut chocolate balls recipe is a no-oven required dessert, calls for minimal ingredients and it is actually fun to roll it over desiccated coconut. What comes out are miniature homemade coconut candies resembling snowballs.

To me, chocolate coconut balls are ideal for parties. Also, perfect for after meal desserts or for satisfying sudden sweet cravings, these no-bake coconut snowballs can never be denied. Not just do they appear yummy but are actually so. All you need is some chocolate powder, unsweetened coconut flakes from Amazon online shopping site and Marie Gold biscuit or any other biscuit of your choice.

Chocolate Coconut Balls – at home – on the couch – in 30 minutes. THIS IS LOVELY!  These chocolate balls looking yummy! Actually they are!

It looks lovely and tastes lovely too. I used unsweetened coconut flakes in this recipe. You can buy this on AMAZON.

I created this magical recipe using some chocolate powder and Marie Biscuits. You can simply use any another biscuit of your choice

The best thing about this sweet dish is that you can store it in your fridge, packed in a Tupperware container, to be relished after meals. I usually do this when I prepare it on winter holidays. However, to me, it is not just a winter snack but also the best way to utilise leftover Marie Gold biscuits or crumbles often thrown away by people.

Much said, now comes the time to prepare them for your kids at home and surprise them with the long-awaited treat, as I do. Make sure you refrigerate it 30 minutes prior to serving and let them enjoy a cold treat.
