Ingredients

  • 200 gm Bhindi Okra or Lady Finger
  • ½ tsp. Turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tbsp. Gram Flour Besan
  • 1/2 tbsp. Rice Flour
  • Chat masala
  • Oil to fry

Instructions

  • How to make:
  • Start by washing and drying the bhindi and then cut them lengthwise into two pieces.
  • Put bhindi in a bowl and add salt and turmeric powder. Mix gently and leave for 5-10 mins
  • After adding salt bhindi will release some water or it will become wet which helps bhindi to stick with the flours.
  • Now spread the wet bhindi on a tray and sprinkle besan and rice flour evenly so that all the cut pieces are covered.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Then add half of the coated bhindi and fry on a medium heat till they are crisp and brown. Repeat this with the other half.
  • Sprinkle chat masala before serving.
  • Serve Hot.
