Golden Chocolate Pudding with step-by-step guide and pictures- Let me be very frank in refuting the age-old adage that says “The proof of the pudding is in the eating” as in the case of golden chocolate pudding it does not apply for the simple reason that the heavenly fragrance that comes out of the oven tells you in no uncertain way that your chocolate pudding is ready for eating without your actually sampling the delightful dessert.

Among the few dessert items that I, as a general food freak, author of innumerable recipes and mother of two lovely kids, love to cook and eat is none other than the golden chocolate pudding, made according to my original recipe. Even though the recipe makes several servings I utilized a small portion for myself and the kids.

Golden Chocolate Pudding
Ingredients
- 6 slices white bread
- 2 cups whipped cream
- Peanut chakki
- 2 tbsp sugar powdered
- ¼ tsp vanilla essence
- 2 tbsp butter melted
- 2 tbsp chocolate powder
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- sprinklers for garnishing
Instructions
- Trim all the sides/edges of the bread.
- Take a bowl and cut or break all the bread into small pieces so that it will get blended easily.
- Take a grinder and put all the bread pieces, grind it without using water and make breadcrumbs.
- Once bread gets grounded put melted butter, vanilla essence, cocoa powder, chocolate powder, powdered sugar and grind it once more so that everything gets blended well.
- Place the Peanuts chikki in a ziplock bag and break it into coarse crumbs.
- Take a glass, baking dish or bowl to make pudding. I have taken a glass and pour the chocolate bread crumbs into the glass and press it slightly with a spoon to get set evenly.
- Pour whipped cream in the piping bag and gently spread over the crust.
- Lastly, sprinkle some crushed peanut chikki and keep it in a refrigerator for 2 hrs or till cream become cold.
- This way you can make as many layers you want.
