Raita is made by beaten curds. In this beaten curd we can add fruits, vegetables and seasoned with coriander, cumin, mint, and other herbs and spices. Adrak mirchi Raita is very simple and quick Raita recipe which can be easily prepare. While making Adrak mirchi ka raita I have not beaten the curd because it comes out more delicious without beating the curd. This raita is little spicy as chily has been added.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Curd
  • ½ tsp Mustard powder
  • ¼ tsp Black salt
  • ¼ tsp Sugar
  • ½ tsp Oil
  • ¼ tsp Mustard seed
  • ¼ tsp Red chily powder
  • 1 inch Ginger Grated
  • 2 pcs Green chilly Chopped
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

How to make:

  • Put curd in a bowl and add ginger, green chilly, mustard powder, black salt, sugar and salt.
  • Mix it well
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and let the seeds splutter.
  • After spluttering mustard seed switch off the flame and add red chilly powder and pour this tempering over the raita.
  • Mix well and serve.
