Instructions
Heat ghee (homemade ghee) in a pan on medium heat.
Roast Daliya (cracked wheat)on a medium heat till it becomes golden red.
After roasting soak daliya in water for an hour. You can also make it without soaking.
Put soaked daliya with water in a pressure cooker on a medium heat.
Pressure cooks the daliya in 10 mins or in 2 whistles, make sure the whistle won’t release the steam out.
Open the pressure cooker,when daliya gets tender add sugar in it on a medium heat.
Stir daliya till the sugar gets dissolve.
Garnish with almonds,cashew or any dry fruits of your taste.
Topped with homemade ghee and serve hot
Some people likes to eat daliya with milk which you can also make it easily.
