Kesar
Saffron
Ghee

Instructions
Boil milk in a deep heavy Pan and leave to simmer over a low heat.
Wash and Soak rice in water and leave for half an hour.
Drain water from rice and mix few drops of ghee (homemade ghee) into it.
Put the rice in milk on low flames stirring it ocassional so that it doesn't get burnt.
Bring it to boil until the rice is soft and starting to break up.
When the milk becomes slightly thick and rice becomes soft add sugar and stir till the sugar gets dissolved.
Chop Almond to slivers.
Add pinch of Kesar, cardamom powder and almond and stir for a minute.
Remove rice kheer from heat and serve warm or chilled.
Garnish with kesar and Almond before serving.

You can add dry fruits according to your taste.
If you don’t have much time add rice without leaving for half an hour
