So let me show you the simplest and quickest way to have smooth and rich chocolate frosting. You can quickly make this frosting for cakes and pastries, that’s fresh and yummy.

If you are making a large cake, or a number of cup cakes for some house party, then this frosting can be really economic than buying stuff from the market.

The chocolate is a very important in this frosting. I am using pure cocoa powder here, that has no added sugar or milk solids. If your cocoa powder has sugar added in it, then it’s probably chocolate powder. In that case, put less sugar or not at all.

There is a difference between coco powder and chocolate powder. Cocoa, in its raw form is bitter, like coffee. You have to add the sweet taste on your own. Chocolate is actually a recipe. If you can get the organic raw cocoa powder or nibs, that’s free of alkaline and milk solids, then those are the best to cook with. The aroma of that chocolate is sensational.

You can use regular Amul butter, or you can use unsalted butter too. If you are using Amul, or salted butter, then the salt will actually help balance the sharpness of the sweet, which is an advantage.

Cake is a very good gift item. Handmade, fresh, good quality cake not only tastes great, it also improves your relationships, since they get a sense of specialness to know that you spent you time and effort to make it for them. Pack it neatly and with the same care you’ve made the cake. So that when your loved one’s open up the box, and find a rich and dense chocolate frosting cake, they will surely love it.

When I was a kid, my mother would make the cake on Christmas and birthdays. Now I make it for my kids, and sometimes they also help me with it. Make some cake and frosting with your kids, it’s a great idea to spend some quality time with them. They can also learn a lot of things from such activities, that fun too. It will boost their creativity, give them a sense of responsibility, and most importantly, have some good moments of family bonding.
