How to make Suji Daal Upma – Breakfast Recipes

Daal Suji Upma is very popular recipe among various Indian recipes. Indian food recipes, specially vegetarian, is liked all over the world mainly, breakfast snacks.

Suji Daal Upma

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Suji semolina
  • 1 piece potato small
  • 1 piece tomato small
  • 1 piece onion small
  • Curry leaves
  • 1 tsp chana dal
  • 5 piece cashew nuts
  • Mustard seed
  • Salt to sate
  • Black pepper
  • Curd
  • Oil

Instructions

  • ) Heat oil in a pan.
  • ) Add mustard seeds when it starts crackling add chana dal and stir for 2 min.
  • ) Add cashew,when the cashew get browned the dal would also get browned.
  • ) Add potato,onion,tomato,and fry till the potatao becomes soft and keep aside.
  • ) Take another pan and heat oil.Add curry leaves n suji for roasting.
  • ) Add roasted suji in a mixture. Keep on stirring while you add the suji
  • ) Add salt and black pepper and mix well
  • ) Curd makes the mixture soft n sour so add it as per sourness.
  • ) Add water in the mixture Keep stirring so that the upma does not stick to the pan.
  • ) If the mixture looks dry, then add some more water.
  • ) Reduce the flame and simmer the upma for 2-3 minutes.
  • ) Serve hot.

How to make Suji Ka Upma:

  • Heat oil in a pan.

  • Add mustard seeds when it starts crackling add chana dal and stir for 2 min.
