Mango Lassi Recipe – Aam Ki Lassi

Mango Lassi is an improved form of traditional Indian lassi. Aam ki lassi is made by adding aamras(mango juice) into yogurt. It turns out to be a delicious shake during summer.

Mango Lassi Recipe - Aam Ki Lassi

Ingredients

  • 1 Alphonso Mango
  • 1 cup yogurt curd
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • saffron Few strands of
  • 1 tbsp Milk
  • 3-4 Mint leaves fresh
  • Almonds Chopped to Garnish
  • 4-5 Ice Cubes

Instructions

  • Peel the skin Of Alphonso mangoes and cut into small pieces.
  • Add the chopped mangoes in a blender.
  • Add Curd, sugar (as per your taste), Saffron strands and milk with the chopped mangoes in a blender.
  • Blend till everything is mixed well and the mixture becomes smooth.
  • Pour mango lassi in glasses.
  • Garnish the Alphonso Mango Lassi with chopped almonds, ice cubes and saffron.
  • Serve chilled.

Notes

Notes: The addition of sugar can be skipped or you can add as per your taste.
If you want slightly thin consistency then add some milk to the mango lassi while blending.
You can add nuts as per your taste.
You can add Ice cubes while blending the mixture.

 How to make mango lassi:

  • Start by peeling the skin of Alphonso mangoes and cut into small pieces.

  • Add the chopped mangoes in a blender.
  • Add Curd, sugar (as per your taste), Saffron strands and milk with the chopped mangoes in a blender.

  • Blend till everything is mixed well and the mixture becomes smooth.

  • Pour mango lassi in glasses.

  • Garnish the Alphonso Mango Lassi with chopped almonds, ice cubes and saffron.
  • Serve chilled.

Note:
