Aloo (potato) ka halwa is a popular Indian phalahari dessert. It is prepared from the mix of boiled poatatoes, ghee, cream and sugar. There are so many special days like Ekadashi, Navratri, Shivratri when people keeps fast. This is a very simple n easy recipe for potato lovers or those who keep fast in special days.

How To Make Aloo ka Halwa

Ingredients

  • 4 medium size potatoes
  • Sugar as needed
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 2 tsp cream
  • ½ tsp Cardamom powder

Instructions

  • Peel off the boiled potatoes and grate or mash them and keep aside.
  • Heat ghee in pan and add boiled grated potatoes.
  • Cook potatoes on low heat until it starts separating with ghee.
  • Add sugar and cream and keep on stirring on medium heat till the sugar gets dissolve and mixed with potatoes.
  • Garnish with cardamom powder and serve hot.

How to make Aloo Ka Halwa:

  • Peel off the boiled potatoes and grate or mash them and keep aside.
