Today i am discussing fruit custard recipe. Fruit Custard is a great companion for every meal. Everyone loves dessert after food and this fruit salad custard recipe will just be the right kind of recipe for this. It can be served in any meal and has high nutritious value.

Easy Fruit Custard Recipe From Scratch - Indian Fruit Salad in Hindi

Ingredients

  • 1 glass Milk 250 ml of Regular
  • 11/2 tbsp eggless Vanilla Custard Powder
  • 2-3 tsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 cup fruit of mixed seasonal Cherries, Kiwi, Mango, banana, grapes, Pomogranate .

Instructions

  • Boil the milk in a deep heavy bottom pan.
  • When the milk starts boiling add sugar and stir till the sugar gets dissolve.
  • Take one small bowl and put custard powder, warm or cold milk and make a smooth paste with custard powder.
  • Make sure there are no lumps and keep aside.
  • Now add the custard paste to the boiling milk.
  • Keep on a low flame and keep on stirring till the milk begins to thicken.
  • Keep on stirring to avoid forming lumps in the custard.
  • Cook till it gets slightly thick as it becomes more thicken in consistency after cooling.
  • Switch off the flame and allow the custard to cool. When it comes on room temperature refrigerate for 2-3 hrs.
  • Just before serving, chop all the fruits into small pieces.
  • Mix them with the chilled custard. Serve immediately.

Notes

Adjust the quantity of custard powder as per the thickness u need.
I always like the custard little thick. It’s your personal choice of making it.
Adjust sugar as per your taste.
You can add nuts as per your taste.

Note:

  1. Add fruits, nuts and raisins in your custard just before serving. Do not add them long before, because that will make the custard light and the taste of fruits will lose.
  2. Adjust the quantity of custard powder as per the thickness u need.
