Fresh Fruit Cream, as the name suggests, is a light and fluffy fresh cream loaded with revitalizing chopped fruits. This dessert, with the right amount of fruits, can keep you well on diet. You are free to choose the fruits of your choice but I have included only my favorite ones in it. Grapes, pineapple, pomegranate, mangoes, and plum are what you will find here.

Mixed Fruit Cream

Since I believe in sharing recipes with the people around me, I made up my mind to share this blog with you all. There are a few things that I would like to point. When you empty the fresh cream in a bowl, try to include only that without any water content. Try not to shake the fresh cream bottle at the time of pouring. Now, when it comes to beating the cream, you have every liberty to choose between a wire whisk and an electric beater. I have used the former to get the dessert done.

I know how much you crave for a cream that has better consistency. With this recipe, your yearning will finally be fulfilled. There is one thing that you might question when reading this recipe. You must be thinking why I did not include whipping cream as most of the online recipes do. To this inquiry, I would say that this ingredient is hard to find in the supermarkets, hence the use of Amul fresh cream. So, let us start with this ‘good for health’ sweet course without wasting any more time.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Amul fresh cream
  • 3 tbsp Condense milk or as required
  • 8-10 pieces almonds of chopped
  • 8-10 pieces cashew of chopped
  • 4-5 pieces pistachios of chopped
  • saffron Few strands
  • ½ tsp cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp lukewarm milk
  • 1-1½ cup fruits chopped Pineapple, plum, pomegranate, mango, grapes

Instructions

  • Soak few strands of saffron with 2 tbsp of lukewarm milk for 20 minutes and keep aside. Meanwhile, let’s start beating the cream.
  • Take out the fresh cream from refrigerator and put it in a wide bowl. There should be no water content so put the thick cream without shaking the bottle.
  • Beat the cream for 3-4 minutes with the help of a wire whisk. Wired whisk takes a long time to get the stiff peaks so I have beaten just 4 minutes until the cream becomes smooth and slightly thick. You can also use an electric beater to beat the cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Now add condensed milk and mix it well again. I have added condensed milk for sweetness and to make the mixture more thick and creamy. If you don’t have condensed milk then you can add powdered sugar also.
  • Now add soaked saffron milk for nice color and flavor, 1/2 of chopped nuts: almond, cashew, pista (keep half of the chopped nuts for garnishing) and cardamom powder. Mix it well till all blended well.
  • Lastly, add chopped fruits, mix it well. Always add fruits while serving because fruits release water which can make the cream thin.
  • Transfer fruit cream in a serving bowl.
  • Garnish it with remaining chopped nuts (almond, cashew, pista), few strands of saffron and pomegranate.
  • Serve chill.
