- Take a deep bottom Pan and pour ½ cup of water in it.
- Put all tomatoes with water and add a little salt. Now cover the pan with the lid and cook for 5-6 mins or till the Tomatoes cooked and their peel is easily removed.
- Open the lid and make the tomatoes cool down so they are easy to handle. Do not throw the remaining water as it can be used while making chutney.
- Remove the peels from the Tomatoes and transfer to a blender.
- Add dry red chilly, Onion, ginger, garlic and blend it to a smooth paste.
- Heat oil in a pan and pour tomato paste in it.
- Add salt, vinegar, pinch of sugar and cover the pan with the lid for 5 mins on low flame.
- Tomato chutney is ready to serve.
- Now your Tomato Chutney is ready. Serve with veg Momos, idli.
